As an authorized retailer, SaveOnEnergy offers exclusive rates and promotions with 4Change Energy. The following are some of the most popular energy plans available on our marketplace from 4Change.
Maxx Saver Select 12 and 24
Available in a 12-month or 24-month contract, the Maxx Saver Select plans have a fixed electricity rate, which won’t change for the length of your contract. For each month you use at least 1,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of power, these plans will offer a $100 energy bill credit. The early termination fee for both plans is $20 per month remaining on your contract.
One Rate 12 and 24
The One Rate 12 and 24 fixed-rate plans have one- or two-year contracts. As you use more energy, the price per kWh decreases. Customers who use 2,000 kWh per month will pay less per kWh than those who use 500 kWh monthly.
Smart Thermostat 24
This 24-month fixed-rate plan gives you a Honeywell T9 Smart Thermostat, which you can use to track your energy consumption. It also offers a $50 energy bill credit when you use at least 1,000 kWh of power in a month.
Cash Money
With this 12-month fixed-rate plan, you get a $100 Visa gift card after paying your first bill in full. You can then receive a $45 bill credit each month you use at least $1,000 kWh.

Green energy options with 4Change Energy
All 4Change Energy plans include power from renewable sources like wind and solar energy. You can learn more about a particular plan’s renewable content by checking the Electricity Facts Label (EFL). You can upgrade any of 4Change Energy’s plans to 100% green energy for $6.95 monthly.
Other 4Change Energy programs
- Charitable involvement: 4Change Energy donates 4% of its yearly profits to customer-nominated charities across Texas, including the American Cancer Society, Feeding Texas, the American Red Cross, and Heroes for Children.
- Referral reward:For each new customer you refer who signs up for a 4Change Energy plan, the company will give you and your referral a $50 Visa® reward card.
- Satisfaction guarantee: If you cancel or change to another 4Change Energy plan within 60 days of your enrollment as a new customer, you can get out of your contract without a penalty.

4Change Energy service areas
4Change Energy sells electricity plans to residents in Texas who receive power from several utilities. You can purchase 4Change plans in the following service areas:
- Oncor Electric Delivery: Oncor’s service area primarily covers Dallas–Fort Worth but also includes communities such as Waco and Odessa.
- CenterPoint Energy: This utility’s service area runs through the eastern and southern parts of Texas, including the Houston metropolitan area.
- Texas-New Mexico Power: TNMP’s service area is throughout the state, including cities in the Dallas and Houston metropolitan areas.
- AEP Texas: This utility serves many parts of Texas, including Laredo and Victoria.
SaveOnEnergy’s tips for easy electricity service setup
Don’t forget to read your plan’s EFL before signing up. It contains essential information, including:
- Price per kWh based on usage
- Percentage of renewable energy
- Early termination fees
Let your supplier handle the setup. Once you receive an order confirmation, your new supplier will set up service with your electric provider or transmission and distribution service provider (TDSP) — but don’t worry, your power won’t get cut during the switch.
Understand your electricity bill. Your local TDSP will still deliver electricity and maintain electric infrastructure, including meters and power lines. Your electric supplier fees will be TDU or TDSP charges on your monthly bill. They are independent of your supplier rate.
How to move or transfer service with 4Change Energy
If you’re an existing 4Change Energy customer planning to move, you can take your electricity service along with you. Contact 4Change Energy at least two days before your move (butpreferably two weeks before) and ask the company to transfer your service to your new address. You can request a transfer through your online account or by calling 1-855-784-2426.
