Clean Choice plans

According to the provider, Clean Choice does not charge an early termination fee (ETF) for residential customers, meaning you can cancel at any time, regardless of the type of plan you choose. Available plan types may vary depending on location. Enter your ZIP code to explore current Clean Choice electricity rates and plans in your area. Here is an overview of some of the Clean Choice plans featured on our marketplace:
Clean Planet
Clean Planet is a fixed-rate plan with a one-month contract. Because its contract only lasts a month, this plan is a great option if you want to sign up for a green energy plan without making a long-term commitment. The Clean Planet plan may also work well for renters with short-term leases.
Clean Pick – 12 Months
With this plan, you will secure a fixed rate for 12 months. When the 12 months are up, this plan becomes a month-to-month variable-rate plan. Like every Clean Choice plan, the Clean Pick energy plan is a 100% renewable energy plan sourced by wind and solar power.
Clean World
The Clean World energy plan is a fixed-rate plan with a contract lasting 12 months. After the 12-month contract expires, it transitions into a variable-rate plan from month to month. This plan could be a good fit if you want to secure a single energy price for an extended period of time.

SaveOnEnergy’s tips for easy electricity service setup
- Read your plan’s Electricity Facts Label before signing up. It contains essential information, including:
- Price per kWh based on usage
- Percent of renewable energy sourcing
- Early termination fees
- Let your supplier complete the switch. Once you have an order confirmation, your new supplier will set up service with your utility or transmission and distribution service provider (TDSP) — but don’t worry, your power will stay on during the switch.
- Understand your electricity bill. Your local TDSP will still deliver electricity and maintain electric infrastructure, including meters and power lines. Your utility fees will appear as TDU or TDSP charges on your monthly bill. They are independent of your supplier rate.
How to move or transfer service with Clean Choice
If you are unhappy with your current provider, you can switch to a Clean Choice energy plan. Depending on your contract term, you may need to pay an ETF before you can switch. If you want to transfer your service because you are moving outside of your current provider’s service area, you may be able to skip the cancellation fee.
