About Entrust Energy
Texans have had the power to choose their retail power supplier and rate plan since 2002, thanks to deregulation. You may be able to reduce your energy bill by switching, but it’s important to carefully assess your options. This will ensure that you choose just the right supplier and plan to meet your household’s needs.
Based in Houston since 2010, Entrust Energy serves more than 5 million homes across eight states. The company’s values include transparency, simplicity, and premier service. Enter your ZIP code above to find Entrust Energy plans in your area.

Entrust 12, 18, or 24
This is the basic Entrust Energy fixed-rate plan, where the number refers to the total number of months in your contract. Your rates will not change for the life of your plan. However, if you need to end your contract ahead of schedule, you will owe an early termination fee (ETF) of $150.
Entrust Monthly
This is a month to month variable-rate plan. Your Entrust Energy electric rates are not locked in and may change every month depending on wholesale energy prices. There is no contract, though, so you will not owe any early termination fees if you decide to cancel.
Entrust Energy also offers a green energy plan in some markets. Known as Texas Refresh, this plan uses 100% renewable energy.
