Because there are dozens of providers, hundreds of plans, and constantly changing rates, our reviews are not based on first-hand experience. We encourage customers to do their own research, compare multiple plans, and consider their individual priorities when choosing which provider is the best fit for them.

Services offered by Rhythm Energy
Rhythm Energy for residential customers
Rhythm specializes in offering renewable energy plans to residential customers. You can choose from residential plans ranging from 12 to 36 months. Most of these plans are fixed-rate, meaning your rate won’t change until your contract ends.
Rhythm for business customers
Rhythm does not offer energy plans for businesses. In 2021, though, Rhythm acquired the customers of Entrust Energy, Inc. after winter storm Uri. At this point, Entrust Energy could no longer guarantee service to its customers. As part of the deal, Rhythm Energy acquired about 10,000 small and medium-sized commercial customers and promised to honor all existing contracts with Entrust Energy, including its commercial plans.
If you own a business and are searching for a new energy plan, you can contact SaveOnEnergy by calling the number on this screen or by filling out this form. We can help you find an energy plan for your needs.
Green energy options with Rhythm Energy
Rhythm Energy specializes in green energy. All of the provider’s plans are powered completely by renewable wind and solar energy. If you are interested in installing solar panels in your home, Rhythm Energy’s Solar Concierge program will help you find an installer and system.
Rhythm also offers a solar buyback program that lets customers earn credits for the extra energy their solar panels generate. Customers can then use these credits to reduce future energy bills. You must live in Texas and have a home with rooftop solar arrays of less than 20kW in capacity to be eligible for this program.

You can also sign up for Rhythm Energy’s Simply Drive energy plan to receive a $100 EVgo charging credit good at more than 46,000 DC fast-charge and L2 public electric vehicle charging stations across the United States.

SaveOnEnergy’s tips for easy electricity service setup
- Don’t forget to read your plan’s Electricity Facts Label before signing up. It contains important information including:
- Price per kilowatt-hour based on usage
- % renewable energy sourcing
- Early termination fees
- Enjoy hassle-free supplier setup. Once your order has been confirmed, your new supplier will set up service with your utility, or transmission and distribution service provider (TDSP) – but don’t worry, there shouldn’t be any interruption to your power during the switch.
- Understanding your electricity bill. Your local TDSP will still deliver your electricity and maintain electric infrastructure including meters and power lines. Your utility fees can be found as TDU or TDSP charges on your monthly bill. They are independent of your supplier rate.
How to move or transfer service with Rhythm Energy
Moving to a new home and want to keep your Rhythm energy plan? Transferring your energy plan when moving to a new residence is a simple process in Texas. Know, though, that you are responsible for making sure the power is turned on when you get to your new home.
To do this, contact Rhythm Energy and tell the company you are moving. You can call Rhythm at 833-774-9846 or check out their moving tips page. Also be aware that your rates might change if you move to a new ZIP code.
Rhythm Energy electric rates in my area
How much you pay for your service from Rhythm Energy depends partly on where you live. The rate you pay will depend on the transmission fees charged by your utility. You may have the same Rhythm plan as someone else but pay a different rate due to these fees. That’s why it’s important to search only for rates and plans in your ZIP code.
You can do this by using our SaveOnEnergy.com marketplace. Enter your ZIP code and sort by rate, plan type, and term length to choose a plan that works best for you.
